CKS Memorial Hall

In the heart of Taipei City lies an area known as the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, covering a vast expanse of 75,000 square meters. Bounded by Hangzhou South Road to the west, Zhongshan South Road to the east, Aiguo East Road to the north, and Xinyi Road to the south, this grand memorial stands as a testament to history and culture.

Within its walls, visitors can witness the striking "Freedom Square" sign, stroll along the wide Memorial Boulevard, and admire the architectural splendor reminiscent of Beijing's Temple of Heaven. The centerpiece of the memorial is the main hall housing a majestic seated bronze statue of Mr. Chiang Kai-shek, surrounded by exhibition rooms and a theater-concert hall that showcases captivating cultural performances.

The serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings make it a popular destination for leisurely walks, gatherings, and capturing timeless wedding photographs. Additionally, the daily ceremonial guard-changing event, performed on the hour from 9 am to 5 pm, adds to the unique charm of the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
