Parisian Street Lamps

Paris’ iconic streetlights were a product of the Industrial Revolution. They’re made from a Roman column and various floral patterns. The streetlamps successfully bring together two seemingly conflicting ideas: industrial development and artistic aesthetic. The lamps are situated right outside of the Palais De Chine’s revolving doors, marking the transition between the hotel’s nostalgic flair and the hustle and bustle of modern metropolitan living. They are the keepers that oversee the beginning of each travelers’ journeys.
